The Board
Our Patrons are Dame Rachel Waterhouse DBE and Mr Justice John Saunders QC. Our Board of management, chaired by Bryce Somerville, a Barrister with chambers in Birmingham, consists of Professors Colin Timms, John Whenham and Doctor Mary O’Neill, all Music Lecturers at the University of Birmingham and Andrew Donaldson, a Senior Forensic Accounting Manager in a local firm of Chartered Accountants. The Board is assisted on a freelance basis by Pat Ryan, the Festival Administrator.
The organisation is well-managed and is able to draw upon the high standard of knowledge and expertise of its Board members at no cost as they all give of their time voluntarily, out of a desire to promote music and support the cultural life of the city.
